Samuel Wild portrait
Samuel Wild
Painting & Drawing

I am a British artist working in drawing, pastel, and oil painting. My practice draws on the techniques and visual language of the Old Masters while engaging modern questions of meaning and myth. Through figurative and symbolic imagery, I like to explore mythology not as a relic of the past but as a vital prism through which modern experience can be understood. My work is informed by an interest in literature, philosophy, and the enduring power of archetypal narratives, seeking points of connection between ancient stories and modern questions.

Damian Chávez portrait
Damian Chávez
Painting & Drawing

Damian Chávez (b. 1976, USA) is a L.A. based artist whose work is primarily figurative, crafted with a modern-classical style. Inspired by the Western classical artistic legacy, the figures and portraits stand as individual likenesses but also as a psychological device - using a feminine guise allows him a creative freedom unattainable by other means. His practice is drawing-centered; signature works are nudes, portraits and allegorical subjects inhabiting a dream-like idealized world. Each piece is meticulously made by hand with the finest materials.

Fen de Villiers portrait
Fen de Villiers
Sculpture

Fen de Villiers is a contemporary sculptor whose work centers on revitalizing dynamism, vitality, and implied movement. His artistic approach builds upon foundations laid by early Modernist movements, which once championed these qualities in sculptural form. Inspired by early Vitalist philosophy, Fen's mission is to reinvigorate aesthetic strength in contemporary sculpture. He is driven to create potent, authentic works at a time when many traditional sculptural practices are fading. Originally from Scotland, Fen now lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium. His artistic journey represents both scholarly understanding of art history and visionary ambition for sculpture’s future possibilities. Fen de Villiers' sculpture can be found in private collections throughout Europe and the United States of America.

Painting & Drawing

Ruxandra Ionce is a painter and illustrator based in Copenhagen. Trained as an environmental scientist and holding a PhD in the field, she has pursued an artistic practice alongside her scientific career, working within the European academic tradition and drawing particular inspiration from Russian academic drawing. Her work explores historical subjects with an emphasis on technical accuracy and a contemplative approach, evoking archaic spaces, archetypal imagery, and a sense of timeless beauty, with a particular interest in classical narratives and equestrian themes.

Rick J. Delanty portrait
Rick J. Delanty
Painting & Drawing

Rick J. Delanty (b. 1951) is an American fine artist who describes himself as a “soldier of Beauty,” painting landscapes that reflect God’s creativity and divine attributes. From the Bible and other literary sources, Delanty derives inspiration for his works which describe the nexus of “heaven touching earth,” and paints in a bold, energetic style that expresses his love for life and the world that God has made. Drawing, brushwork, concept, composition and color are woven together to create surfaces and environments that are alive with joy and passion. The fundamentals of design are present in each work, but given a unique place in his paintings that are both representational and experimental simultaneously. Architecture, organic forms, water in all of its forms, still life, and daylight and nocturnal atmosphere all play a part in his study of our natural world. California provides the perfect backdrop for the artist’s observations of beauty, with his studio based in San Clemente.
